Workers' Compensation Administrator
NPL Construction Co., the nation's leader in underground utillity and energy distribution construction with operations in more than 20 states, presents an excellent opportunity for a Workers' Compensation Administrator at their Central office located in Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will report to the Workers' Compensation Manager. This is a full-time position; NPL benefits available (total compensation DOE). Please note, all candidates will be drug tested. No tobacco users, please.
Responsibilities
Under general supervision, to perform entry level and specialized assistance in the area of Workers’ Compensation. Successful candidate will monitor and process claims for Workers’ Compensation benefits, provide responsible administrative support to the Workers’ Compensation Manager, and to do related work as required. Other duties include receiving, recording and reviewing all on-the-job injury claims and reports, performing initial case set-up on all new files in NPL’s claims management system, and answering and initiating phone calls with insurance adjusters. Also reviews, prepares, creates and/or sends letters, reports and forms, and processes mail, handles filing, faxing and photocopying.
Requirements:
Data entry experience a plus. Discipline, organization and a liking for a fast-paced environment – with skills for timely, error-free performance against aggressive deadlines – are all key requirements. Must be detail-oriented, a team-player, and able to think critically for problem-solving, and plan and organize activities. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are also needed, as well as accuracy in math and adeptness with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Regular and timely attendance is necessary.
