Location and team
Join the team that is helping commercial and industrial customers save energy and money. KEMA has been retained to implement energy efficiency programs for a local utility. The utility's commercial and industrial customers will be eligible for technical and financial support to make their facilities more energy efficient.
KEMA is seeking an entry-level Energy Efficiency Engineer to be based in Phoenix, AZ.
Tasks may include
Review and verify technical merits of energy efficiency applications from the business sector, including calculation of energy savings and verification of equipment specifications
Customer site inspections to verify existing conditions and the installation of energy efficient equipment
Database queries and program data analysis
Educate contractors and customers about the program
Provide flexible support to other team members on an as-needed basis
What we're asking
Requirements include:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. An educational emphasis on energy and/or energy experience is strongly preferred.
EIT is desirable.
Proficiency with database and analysis tools and Excel is required.
Excellent written and oral English communication skills for customer communication required.
Individual should display a positive, team-oriented attitude to match our friendly work environment.
Must have own vehicle or ability to rent a vehicle. Mileage and expenses will be reimbursed.
This is a U.S. based position; applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. This position requires a background check.
