Test & Evaluation Engineer 4\5
Work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment leading the test program planning, estimation, and execution of Rotorcraft testing programs. Coordinate with the program engineering and management personnel leading the documentation efforts for the testing requirements and objectives, facilitate dialog with BT&E testing capabilities ensuring a clear understanding of testing objectives and expectations, establish a testing baseline estimate and resource plan and monitor test program execution ensuring compliance with the baseline plan. Provide status reporting to program and Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) senior leadership and facilitate any corrective action and recovery plans as required to meet program objectives. Successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work under minimal consultive direction in a highly dynamic environment, while maintaining a high degree of communication with all participants involved with the testing program. Technical and field experience in all phases of Development Test (DT), Operational Test (OT) to include Operational Test Readiness Review (OTRR), Initial Operational Test & Evaluation (IOT&E) and Follow-on Operational Test & Evaluation (FOT&E) planning and execution highly desirable. Successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work with multiple military service organizations. Technical and as well as business acumen including earned value management is required.

Extensive experience in creating comprehensive multi-tiered project schedules for significant Business Unit projects; identifies time frames for key project milestones and ensure alignment of sub tier activities for overall project visibility, tracking and completion. Directs and manages very complex project schedules requiring interfacing with multi regional or international activities. Independently identifies project resource requirements, integrate and direct multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Collaborates with others on the most complex projects assigned. Ability to direct, delegate and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of the overall large scale and complex projects. Identifies and resolves any issues and provide solutions and or recommendations to ensure the successful completion of the project.
Technical• Engineering Tests Techniques
Basic - Advanced ability to perform engineering tests techniques, including handling qualities, performance, systems testing, structural loads, weapons separation, propulsion, etc.

• Flight Test
Basic - Complete knowledge of and ability to work within flight test requirements, environment (e.g., Air Traffic Control, Air Space, Duty Day and flight test team) and coordination procedures. Able to integrate operations in a flight test environment.
Preferred - Advanced knowledge of and ability to work within flight test requirements, environment (e.g., Air Traffic Control, Air Space, Duty Day and flight test team) and coordination procedures. Able to direct the integration of operations in a flight test environment.
• Test Aircraft Missions
Basic - Advanced knowledge of flight test requirements and procedures (e.g., test equipment requirements, chase aircraft requirements, flight test weather requirements) for monitoring test aircraft missions. Interfaces with the test organization to obtain test requirements.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 4 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 5 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's 14 or more years' experience, Master's with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
