Systems Engineer 1
The entry-level Systems Engineer will support Apache Rotorcraft Support (ARS) as a member of the Product Support and Engineering team. The Systems Engineer's primary responsibilities will include technical elements of ARS proposals, and the Systems Engineer will be a member of the proposal team for the United States Government and International Apache programs. The Systems Engineering will review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Boeing's proposed aircraft configuration to identify impacts to the support elements: Manpower and Personnel Integration (MANPRINT); Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Support and Test Equipment (S&TE); Transportability; technical manuals; obsolescence; and aircraft spares. The Systems Engineer will provide technical support throughout the proposal process to Program Management, Proposal Management, and Contracts and Pricing and will support the proposal team with technical responses and customer technical inquiries. Based on proposed aircraft configuration, the Systems Engineer will plan for material requirements, including spares and S&TE and will be the primary Bill of Material contact on the Systems Engineering team. In this capacity, the Systems Engineer will be accountable to Program Management and Material Estimating and will provide Bill of Material guidance to other technical teams. As a member of the ARS Product Support and Engineering team, the Systems Engineer will also develop an understanding of the acquire business process and the Department of Defense elements of Integrated Product Support. The Systems Engineer will support each acquisition from receipt of an RFP through submittal and negotiations. After contract award, the team member will provide support to transitioning the proposal to execution. The team member will be an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) IPT member.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
