General Summary:
Under minimal supervision, this position utilizes advanced programming skills to develop and maintain company processes and objectives. Direct and complete discovery, estimating, planning and implementation of Marketing Technology projects. Develop, test, and implement enhancements to applications, web and API infrastructure as required. Perform development and maintenance tasks in compliance with established procedures. Administrate web sites for erroneous occurrences, correct or escalate accordingly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership role in the design and development of marketing technology solutions, meeting the needs of internal company and client initiatives. Design and develop complex processes, including API architecture and coding standards. Prepare technical documentation. This includes code documentation and other information as necessary to build new functionality and understand the code flow and the processes in general.
Provide the Marketing Department with consultation and support as it pertains to advanced design and application. Utilizing cutting edge design to turn concepts into a solid project plan and see that plan through to fruition.
Participate in discovery, estimating, planning, and implementation of projects. Ability to implement troubleshooting and testing methodologies. Identify erroneous conditions and correct or escalate accordingly. Meet with business partners to understand internal or client needs and make recommendations for technical solutions. Responsible for maintaining and fixing current code. Responsible for estimating and planning projects and enhancements to new and existing sites.
Work with internal management and external vendors to implement projects and ensure internal direction and documentation are accurately implemented with all projects.

Job Specifications:
Minimum of a four year Bachelor's or Technical Degree, in Information Technology/Systems or equivalent direct related experience
Minimum six years advanced programming for web (Desired Technologies: FLASH, C#, , JSP, PHP, Silverlight, Visual Studio and AJAX)
Minimum four years experience with database applications (SQL Server, MS Access, etc.) Must have a working knowledge of SQL Server to make well educated decisions on workflow usage and capability
Coldfusion or other dynamic web languages a plus
Minimum of at least 4 years advanced knowledge of HTML, XML, Web Services and SOAP to develop web applications that can connect to third party applications
Minimum of 4 years knowledge of versioning systems (CVS or MS SourceSafe preferred)
Advanced understanding of technical documentation.
Additional Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Implement advanced troubleshooting and testing methodologies
Develop advanced XML/API/Web Services to communicate to a variety of platforms (middleware) via the web
Utilize advanced ability to test and debug complex code
Support Marketing Services technology platform
Graphic design skills including experience with Photoshop a plus.
