Special Event Manager (Sports Marketing/Events/Promotions)
For over 24 years, our company has been synonymous with special event photography in Arizona and around the country. They provide professional photography to a wide variety of Clients and strive to handle every event and situation with professional ease. We have had thousands of their images published in publications all around the globe, and have photographed US Presidents, Hollywood Superstars, Music Legends, Business Icons and some of the greatest Professional Athletes in the world.
POSITION OVERVIEW: We are looking for a Special Event Manager for Youth Sport Photo Days and other general photography events to take place at many locations around the Valley. Reliable transportation is required.
SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
ú Supervise the Special Event Coordinators and make sure they are performing their assigned tasks. ú Assist the Event Photographers as needed. ú Interact with the Clients and offer superior Customer Service on behalf of the Company. ú Assist with event set-up and tear-down. ú Assist in posing Clients for photos as needed. ú Operate the Computer Printing Program.
EXPERIENCE / SKILL SETS / INTANGIBLES REQUIRED:
ú Background working special events. ú Technical knowledge of camera equipment a plus. ú Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ú Attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. ú Enthusiastic and hard working. ú Reliable, punctual and courteous. ú Good listening skills and ability to work well with others. ú Ability to respond to any situation quickly and professionally.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.
COMPENSATION: Competitive part-time wage, to be determined.
