Overview: Lead development of infrastructure solutions covering system analysis, design, engineering and deployment
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the technical evaluation of business requirements, end user needs, and existing information systems to design specific technological solutions to meet the business requirements Develop technological solutions based on the existing corporate enterprise infrastructure architecture and standards Develop custom technological solutions based on the modified corporate enterprise infrastructure architecture and standards or based on custom hardware technology when required. Develop physical and logical capacity plans Design infrastructure solutions for performance, scalability, stability and quality Design and develop standard infrastructure solutions for local and global business needs Act as a technical liaison between the businesses, HITS functions / services teams, and Honeywell supplier partners to insure processes and tools are in place to support the infrastructure solution Analyze service technology and service architecture Ensure quality of technical solutions while meet customer schedules Provide root cause analysis and proactive problem solving Implement services and provision technological solution to meet global standards
Qualifications: Fluent (both written and verbal) in English Strong presentation skills and the ability to interact well with all levels of the organization Broad technical expertise in application architecture including o Hardware Intel (Dell / HP a plus), IBM AIX, SUN o Operating systems MS Windows Server, VM Ware, AIX, Red Hat Linux, Sun Solaris o Database Management Systems Oracle, SQL Server o Storage JBOD, SAN, Virtualized Storage (Hitachi a plus) Experience in customer service delivery in a matrix organization Ability to communicate effectively Results oriented Strong teaming skills Ability to influence others
Education and Work Experience: BS Degree in Information Systems or related field Minimum 5 years IT infrastructure delivery experience Experience developing infrastructure solutions for business applications such as ERP, PDM, CRM, MES, HR, LDAP, EMAIL and self service applications a plus Experience developing infrastructure solution across multiple countries a plus
