SAP Portal Administrator
The Portal Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance and support of an internal corporate information portal (web site). In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Administrator will assist BI Portal Designers with the appearance, functionality and Content Administration of the portal. The Portal Administrator will work with the internal Business Intelligence (BI) team (which includes the Portal Designers) and with business data stewards to create/enhance the look and feel (Graphical User Interface) of the portal for a large volume of end-users. The Portal Administrator must consider the overall user experience, ensuring that portal designs are simple and intuitive. The Portal Administrator will also collaborate with the various IT teams including: * SAP SECURITY* SAP BASISThe successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * 5+ years of Portal experience are essential for this position* 3+ years of experience specifically with the following is required - Portals and NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7.x* SAP Front-End Toolset to include BEx Web Analyzer, Broadcaster, Web Application Designer (WAD), Web Intelligence, InfoView, Xcelsius, and Crystal Reports* Languages must include HTML, DHTML, XML, Java, C, and C++* Web related skills include ASP, JSP, VBScript, JavaScript, IIS, I Planet Web Server, WebSphere, Web Dynpro for Java / ABAP, and AJAX* Scripting Languages - ASP, JavaScript, and XSL* Tools and Utilities include SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio and SAP ABAP Workbench* Integrating portal content into the SAP Enterprise Portal using the portal services* Content Administration activities to include iViews, work sets, pages, framework, KM, etc.* Object-based navigation (OBN Drag and Relate)* Authentication* Single Sign-On* Secure Communications: Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Secure Network Communications* Experience in performance monitoring and tuning* Experience installing components in a NetWeaver / Portal environment For consideration, please send your resume to Paul Montoya at today!
