Sales & Marketing ManagerTracking Code216407-976Job Description The Ducommun LaBarge Technologies (DLT) Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for Sales & Marketing of the EMS range of Ducommun LaBarge Technologies products, processes and services across all DLT EMS business units. They will coordinate and drive DLT's sales effort at assigned key accounts to achieve our goal of customer intimacy while presenting one DLT face to the customer. Their charter will include the continuous improvement of Ducommun LaBarge Technologies' image both internally and externally while they identify, validate and win new product and service opportunities which augment existing DLT core competencies. They will relentlessly pursue new business to meet and exceed DLT's sales and profitability objectives. * Provide leadership for DLT sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution of strategies and capture plans that capitalize on DLT's strengths in core competencies, products and services to meet and exceed customer expectations. * Build customer relationships with the assigned customer to grow sales for all DLT sites. * Support assigned customer accounts in sales & marketing activities and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities. * Coordinate DLT company wide support activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery. * Negotiate contracts and develop proposals as required. * Maintainknowledge of market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base. * Assist with competitive / market assessments. * Work cross-functionally with DLT Operations, Finance, Procurement, Estimating, and Business Management to develop project specific sales strategies for assigned customers. * Make specific recommendations for continued growth at all assigned accounts, identify specific growth opportunities and establish priorities. * Communicate regularly with DLT customers representing all EMS product lines. * Prepare and present sales & marketing proposals and perform technical presentations. * Establish sales goals and develop sales plans for assigned customers. * Represent Ducommun at trade shows, conferences, seminars and technical symposiums.Required Skills * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college in business or engineering related discipline. * Minimum 7 years of professional experience in technical product sales, customer & product support or services. * Demonstrated organization skills with the ability to plan itineraries, develop programs, write proposals and meet all monthly reporting requirements while traveling up to 40% of their time meeting face to face with customers at their locations. * Ability to prioritize work and meet competing or short-notice deadlines consistently. * Motivated self-starter with ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. * In-depth knowledge of the market and technical applications for product lines and markets. * Strong computer skills including ability to create documents using PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project, Outlook and Word in producing internal an external documents (letters, proposals and correspondence) required. * Demonstrated track record in working with all levels of staff and management. * Integrative team working style. * Professional appearance and demeanor.Required Experience * Past experience with D&B and/or BTP Aerospace sales with OE and Tier 1 customers, * EMS sales experience * Strong technical background in aerospace products and aviation in general.Job LocationPhoenix, AZ USPosition TypeFull-Time/Regular
