R&D Engineering Lab Technician
The R&D Lab Technician provides project support to the engineering team by assisting with the design, development, testing, improvements and validations of medical devices.
Qualifications/Work Experience
-Medical device line extension research/implementation.
-Drafting protocols/reports/test methods and data collection.
-Testing support with fixture development.
-Interaction with suppliers/vendors.
-Tier 2 product development.
-Assist in function testing and data collection.
-Assist 510(k) development process.
-Perform product, manufacturing or application engineering support activities as directed.
-Other duties as assigned to support the R&D lab.
Education and/or Special Training
- Associates of Engineering Technology or equivalent technical degree preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in Engineering Technician related role with medical device preferred.
-Knowledge of medical terminology/concepts related to medical devices.
-Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan/prioritize activities.
-Ability to work independently or with a team.
-Ability to be proactive in decision making as it relates to projects/tasks.
