DETAILED DESCRIPTION: The Customer Support Project Management Specialist position will primarily be responsible for supporting key Customer & Product Support (C&PS) issues and processes within the Air Transport and Regional (AT&R) business. The Customer Support Project Management Specialist will coordinate with other Customer & Product Support personnel and business functions to support and/or drive product and process improvement initiatives. The Customer Support Project Management Specialist also will assist ongoing activities and objectives to ensure customers' and platform-wide products are supported in an efficient and effective manner.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
o Voice of the Customer (VOC)
o Entry Into Service (EIS)
o Service Related Difficulties (SRD))
o Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Airline Communication Strategies
o Product Performance Reviews (PPR) and Updates
o Airline Operator Updates
o Airline Operator Engagement Strategies
o Provide support interface with functional areas such as engineering, program management, integrated supply chain and aftermarket support sites on full range of model specific issues including technical, logistic, program and business issues
o Support and/or drive OEM and airline update and engagement initiatives and activities keeping them on schedule and budget
o Champion customer concerns and product support issues by utilizing Service Request process to ensure customer issue resolution.
o Support and/or drive process improvement and lean programs
o Support execution of operator conference strategies
o Interface with Customer Support organization to ensure consistent communication and expectations at all times between, OEM and airline operators
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Supply Chain, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a Business related discipline
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to export control restrictions
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
Strong PC skills including MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Sound written and oral communication skills
Ability to execute all tasks with high degree of accuracy and on schedule
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Strong and proven team player with the ability to work with other organizations and individuals at all levels
Ability to solve problems and recommend solutions to improve productivity
Project management skills
