In this role the incumbent will be responsible for leading and overseeing all the engineering activities within Hamilton Sundstrand's Worldwide Repair facility. Some but not all of the responsibilities are designing and planning shop processes to improve profitability while maintaining customer's unit reliability. Also, establishing strategies to improve any shop process, analysis/standardization of material consumption, track customer reliability and establish strategy to increase customer satisfaction. Standardization and process improvement for HS electronic equipment will be the main focus for this position.
Ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment, be highly ethical. Have great interpersonal skills and must be open to relocating should business needs require it.
Phoenix is an FAA regulated facility and as such, under the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), this position is considered a Safety Sensitive Position. Under this regulation, selected candidate will participate in a drug testing program.
