JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Lab Technician works in formulation and nutraceutical process and product development efforts on assigned projects, and assists the Research and Development Manager, Quality, Regulatory & Product Development Director in all aspects of formulation testing and documentation. This position is responsible for assisting the company in taking a product from conceptualization to commercialization, including ensuring product stability, efficacy and scientific substantiation.  

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Perform Daily  testing on OTC and nutritional products


• Perform testing (weight loss, pH, viscosity, etc) on all the stability samples


• Maintain and updated the stability files and prepared client reports


• Fully Experience in cGMP’s FDA, and organic regulations, (SOP writing, Validations, IQ, OQ, PQ, etc.)


• Strong attention to detail


• Analyses and tests of organic-inorganic compounds to identify properties for development and improvement of new and existing products, utilizing laboratory equipments and techniques


• Great ability to function well within multidisciplinary teams and high-intensity environment


•  Working knowledge of chemical and biological safe handling procedures; follow good laboratory practices and safety precautions including the use of personal protective equipment


•  Great problem solving and troubleshooting skills to operate, maintain,


•  troubleshoot, specialized production, laboratory instrumentation

• Ready to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.


• Creativity to come up with new ideas and concepts for product development.


• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and very organized.

• Minimum 3 years experience in formulation and testing in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical environment.
