ABM Janitorial Services in Tempe, AZ is currently seeking a Janitorial Manager in a large campus type environment. Successful candidate must be Bilingual English/Spanish and have some high tech experience along with management of staff. Job Summary/Responsibilities: Oversees janitorial staff and is responsible in assisting the District Manager with all ABM operations at a specific site. Manage the work within the appropriate budget requirements and work closely with the customer as liaison between the customer and ABM operations.
Essential Job Duties: * Tour campus for inspections, customer contact and follow-up * Direct and supervise scheduling of work load adjustment with supervisory staff * Inventory consumable goods (towels, tissue, etc. perform written inspections of designated work station) * Oversee janitor personnel in working methods and procedures * Follow up on all completed work assignments * Personnel--be aware of the fundamentals of good personnel management and ensure campus is in compliance with all State and Federal guidelines as well as ABM policies * Supervision--carry out documented discussions as needed, including proper written documentation of all performance deficiences. Train subordinates in proper supervisory duties to ensure their compliance with all regulations and policies. * Staffing--make sure proper staffing levels are maintained and coordinate personnel requisitions with Hiring Center * Monitor equipment usage & repair * Perform all other duties as assigned Education Requirement: * Minimum of (3) year customer service experience * Excellent written and communication skills * Ability to work calmly under pressure * Ability to multi-task * Excellent organization and scheduling skills * Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Lotus Notes * Bilingual (English/Spanish) required * College degree preferred Salary: * Based upon qualifications and experience * Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and LTD Benefits package * 401K and Employee Stock Options
