Intern Student Engineer
These positions are internship positions for engineering students. Test Engineering Interns will participate in various laboratory and flight test activities in support of various airplane and aerospace product test programs. The tasks include test program design, development, liaison, and test support during test conduct activities. Depending on the educational background and interests of the candidates the candidates will assist in mechanical, electrical, structural, aerodynamics and flight testing. They will work with a team of experienced engineers on new and on-going test programs in various tasks leading up to collection of test data used to make engineering and certification decisions. Some flight or pilot training will be a plus for Flight Test Interns. The positions require highly motivated individuals. Some travel and overtime work will be required. The candidates should have excellent basic engineering, scientific and mathematical skills and be conversant with Microsoft Office software, and engineering analysis tools. They should have a proven record of high achievement, team work and participation in non-academic and volunteer activities.

Typical Education/Experience High school diploma or GED.
Other Job related information The candidates should be pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Aero or Industrial Engineering discipline and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Ideally they would be in the final year of an accredited engineering undergraduate or graduate degree program with degree completion scheduled in school year 2013. Clearly state your major, cumulative GPA and graduation month/year in your resume. This job requisition identifies Mesa, Arizona or Ridley Park, Pennsylvania as the available work locations. Actual location of assignment will be based on projected program requirements, candidate interest and qualifications. Currently expecting to place 1 intern at each location.
