The Intern Master's Marketing position will be based, in Phoenix Arizona. Local Candidates only - no housing or transportation will be provided.
The Safety and Information Management (SIM) Marketing and Product Management (MPM) team is seeking an energetic, self-starting, and entrepreneurial Intern who will support the team in developing strategies enabling growth and improving market share in Honeywell's $1.0B SIM business. This person will perform market analysis for communication and surveillance products (Communication & Navigation Radios, Satcom, Datalink, TCAS, Radar) including analysis of peers, competitors, and customers and provide recommendations to its strategy development. Additional responsibilities will include budget analysis; assessment of technology evolution in navigation; assessment of evolving FAA requirements and their impact on systems requirements; and supporting the navigation marketing process from market definition, segmentation, and value proposition development.
Critical factors for success include the ability to effectively frame and communicate complex market issues in a concise manner (both written and orally) and the ability to work across functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ? Perform Market Research - customers, competitors, budgets, future requirements. ? Complete data analysis and synthesis. ? Development of clear analysis summaries and recommendations for executive level presentations. ? Presentation of project analysis and strategies. Basic Qualifications:
. Currently pursuing a Master's degree, in Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Science or Finance or an MBA. . Must have completed college level coursework and/or project involving direct market analysis. . Minimum one year's experience in Marketing Analysis, Business Development, Sales, Business Execution or other relevant business areas. . Due to export control restrictions, must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. . Must be able to participate, in an internship, prior to completing current degree program.
Additional Qualifications:
. Minimum GPA of 3.5. . Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline. . Understanding of technology and its practical application across markets. . Entrepreneurial thinking/attitude, with project manager skill-sets. . Able to work independently. . High performer. . Strong leadership and business acumen skills. . Strong written and verbal communication skills. . Strong planning and implementation skills. . Ability to transform data into insights. . Capable of working multiple projects. . Ability to work with many functional areas. . Strong analytical skills (Excel, Access, finance principles). . Direct market analysis experience, a plus.
