Energy Manager-Natural Gas / Power/Power Marketing / Purchasing/Tariffs/Regulations
Growing company has a great opportunity for an ENERGY MANAGER to plan and execute the safety, engineering, procurement, and customer service relating to power and natural gas delivery.
Responsibilities:
-> Optimizes the regulatory efficiency, and cost effectiveness of natural gas and electrical power supplies
-> Negotiates large power purchase and natural gas supply agreements. Manages legal, political, and utility relationships and assist the plant personnel with utility matters
Requirements:
-> Requires BS Technical, MS preferred, and 10 years experience with energy efficiency processes, systems, utility tariffs, and energy procurement experience
-> Must have experience in wholesale electricity or natural gas regulations, experience in mining and mineral industry is preferred
-> Requires regulatory experience at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and state Public Utility Commissions
-> Must have Natural Gas power marketing or purchasing background in either retail or wholesale area
