What will I do?
Oversee digital planning, implementation, and day-to-day stewardship of digital media for numerous categories and campaigns. Work with all internal parties on development, negotiation, implementation, tracking, and optimization of assigned digital media campaigns including most or all of the following: online display banners, online video, site-direct buys, online ad networks, behavioral targeting, rich media, mobile, and coordination of and budget tracking for separately managed paid search and email marketing campaigns Work within a broader, well-integrated media team, applying digital solutions to efficiently meet a large Brand Stories and advertising needs for Brand Directors and Managers Master and continually enhance use of online advertising tools to evaluate, set up, and facilitate ad serving for assigned online campaigns (using MediaVisor, DART, ComScore, data sources, and similar online planning/buying tools) Coordinate with Interactive Account Team on creative asset needs/availability and appropriate landing page/linking for individual media placements as set up in MediaVisor/DART Coordinate with separate Traffic team to ensure all interactive buys implement properly Digital planning/buying responsibility for assigned Cross-Platform Initiatives to determine viability of digital proposals or work with media partners to appropriately build viable programs Facilitate keeping entire media group and clients current on interactive issues and marketplace/technology developments Facilitate manage team on all digital projects, request and deadlines Facilitate and manage all financial responsibility around media buying, planning and placement
Requirements
A four year college degree, preferably in advertising, media and/or interactive 3+ years of digital/online media planning experience as an Assistant or Planner 5 years media buying experience MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Mac experience a plus Experience or familiarity using industry media planning/buying tools such as: DoubleClick Mediavisor/DART, ComScore, Quantcast, AdRelevance, MRI Research, TNS/Kantar, DDS/Strata/DataTech, etc. Demonstrated presentation and writing skills Proven ability to develop quality, well-conceived and successful media plans Experience directly managing a staff of one or more Experience managing and coordinating inter-departmental efforts Agency experience preferred
