Corporate Controller
Industry leader in the Service/Transportation industry needs a Corporate Controller to manage all corporate accounting and financial functions in North America. This position has responsibilities for all corporate accounting including treasury, A/R, A/O, Inventory, fixed assets, and general ledger for a publicly-traded corporation. This role reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer.
The ideal candidate started their career in public accounting and has held a Controller position in a publicly held or large corporation.
Responsibilities:
Review monthly accounting close process
Provide analysis of operating trends
Review internal and external financial reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies and SOX controls
Continuous improvement in financial reporting cycle
Supervise and mentor accounting and other staff
Lead preparation of annual budget and provide variance reporting
Assist in the preparation of 10-K, 10-Q and related SEC documents
Responsible for all aspects of annual audits and quarterly reviews conducted by external auditors as well as various internal audit functions
Implement accounting practices for any business related accounting literature changes
Requirements:
CPA
8+ years progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
