Great opportunity at stable East Phoenix Aerospace company!
Successfully machine aerospace parts from manufacturing operation instructions at expected production levels
Operate and set-up CNC machines to produce aerospace parts to acceptable tolerances
Troubleshoot machines and production process problems as necessary
Use gauges and other measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, comparators and indicators in order to perform quality control checks on parts in-process and upon completion
Trains and instructs other employees as directed
May perform other duties as requested
Requirements:
Must have 2-3 years of experience operating a CNC Mill
Capable of setting up and operating machinery
Requires ability to work from a blueprint or MOT
Experience and knowledge of shop math
Must be able to accurately adjust machine speeds and feeds.
Preferred:
Experience with aerospace materials and processes
Plate inspection experience
Setup and run vertical mill with 4th axis and/or horizontal
First article inspection experience
Working Conditions – Physical requirements and Environment:
Standing for long periods up to 90% of the time
Must be able to lift a maximum of 50lbs without assistance
Exposed to loud noises
Safety glasses required in designated areas
Adhere to all safety requirements
