Business Systems Analyst
Job Description:
Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating strategic releases from initiation to implementation. Leads cross-functional program teams and works with business partners to determine and interpret business requirements.
Responsible for managing program costs, resources, change requests, risks and issues to ensure that maximum business benefits are maintained. Provides regular program status updates.
Contributes to ongoing governance and enhancement of key Network Platforms, including multi-year roadmapping, capability development and investment management.
Communicates with all levels of Technical Delivery and Business Partners with regard to platform strategy, direction and changes.
Facilitates potential development solutions by working with business partners and senior level leaders to determine solutions that align with business strategies and IT strategic directions.
Lead the delivery of cross-functional systems and business process initiatives. This involves the program management of the cost, schedule and scope of each initiative.
Identifies and tracks key project milestones (base-lining critical path) and recommends adjustments to support Program across the enterprise.
Monitors and communicates progress of the program delivery and ensures timely and effective communication of the status, in terms of cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risks/issues.
Negotiates and influences cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels are engaged and maintained throughout the course of the development life cycle.
Proactively anticipates program/project risks and issues and ensures that appropriate mitigation planning is in place to avoid compromising delivery.
Manage the investment optimization process to ensure that requirements implemented on these platforms fall clearly within the Network Platform mandate.
