2nd shift Production Grinder / Machinist
The Incumbent is responsible for:
Accurately grinding diameters, faces and bores to .0001 tolerances using either an ID or OD manual grinder
Perform surface and jig grinding operations on aerospace hardware to .0001 tolerance in a timely manner to ensure on delivery of products
Perform all tasks to manufacturing process drawings, sketches and blue prints
Properly operate a Moore jog grinder and surface grinders
Able to operate CNC mills or lathes and inspecting of milled machined components during grinding operation downtime.
Requirements:
5+ years of recent work experience within the aerospace industry
High School diploma or GED
Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate ability of working to MOT sketches sheets and blue prints while abiding by established policies, plans, methods, procedures, deadlines and priorities
Must have the necessary tools to perform the job
Able to be dependable, professional, flexible, have a positive attitude and a solid work history
Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5M
Able to lift 40 pounds, walks and stand 65% of the time and work in a loud machine shop environment
Able to work extended hours including weekends and holidays
Able to pass pre-employment and radon drug screens
