Banner Health, Arizonas largest healthcare provider, has an opportunity for an experienced Internal Auditor. This position will work as a part of a small team, assisting the Director of Audit Services, and will be located at the Banner Health System Center in central Phoenix, Arizona.

The Internal Auditor will assess organizational risk, coordinate, plan and execute audits and communicate audit findings and facilitate improvements throughout the system. The Internal Auditor will lead efforts in the implementation of audit technology, working cooperatively with external audit consultants in the accomplishment of the Banner Health audit plan.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Internal Audit or other related field
• Five years’ functioning in an internal audit role, preferably in healthcare field, performing at a highly proficient level in analyzing and documenting process controls and performance
• Masters degree and/or professional designations such as CPS, CIA, CFE, or CISA preferred
• Highly effective verbal, written and computer skills
