This position will report directly to the Vice President of Business Services at the Downers Grove Campus in Illinois and will be responsible for all daily financial operations of the Glendale university campus. These duties will primarily center on oversight of the general accounting and budgeting of the campus operations, including a strong emphasis on the accounting of multi specialty medical, dental, and optometry clinics. This position is also responsible for analyzing general ledger accounts and supervision of all aspects of the university student loan School as Lender program, preparing and reviewing some bank reconciliations, review of state and city sales and use tax returns, supervising accounts payable, overseeing fixed asset records (i.e. tracking depreciation, preparing capital budgets); and performing other duties and special projects as assigned by the Vice President. This position has 4 FTEs as direct reports. This position interfaces regularly with Human Resources, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Student Housing, and the Dean of Student Services. The position may require 1 or 2 trips per year to the Illinois campus.
Requirements:
Masters Degree with minimum 5 years experience in business or finance related position required; CPA required. Big 4 and medical clinic audit/experience a plus. Must be computer literate with experience in Windows environment and have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with administration, faculty, staff, and students.
